“ After a long day on the road and then on our feet during a college fair, this place was the stop we needed. We tried the vegetarian combo platter and literally everything was delicious. The cold hommous, baba ghannouge and tabouli were served with plenty of pita while the warm items were prepared. This was some of the most satisfying falafel I have ever eaten. It was full of herby goodness, browned on the outside yet tender on the inside. There were only two of us, so we were quite filled up well before we had made a significant dent in our grain dishes. We had plenty of leftovers to share between the two of us later in the day, so essentially we got four meals out of the platter. I tried the Turkish coffee. I hadn’t had any for about a decade and had forgotten how unique a flavor it was. I wish they had served it to me in a ceramic or metal cup, as I felt the disposable foam-coated cup detracted from its taste and the experience. That’s me trying to find a negative with my overwhelmingly positive experience. ”
“ Sultan’s is located near campus. They have a nice atmosphere where you can a see them prepare the food and the rotating shawarma meat!!!! There are nice photos and trinkets hanging from the ceiling. The food was great! You can never go wrong with chicken shawarma, the falafels were a little soft, but had great flavor. They had more of the thick whipped garlic sauce vs the creamy style, but still great sauce!!!! Take a break from studying and grab a shawarma from Sultan’s!!!!! ”
“ Wow! I can’t say enough good things. My chicken shawarma was so tender with incredible flavor. Hummus had a lovely lemon zing, and the pita was soft enough to melt in my mouth but sturdy enough to hold the rice, chicken and hummus I packed it with. Service was fast and friendly, will be back again soon! ”

“ I say this a lot, theres a lot of shawarma in this state and city they have the best chicken shawarma wrap in Lansing, hands down. I recommend the chicken shawarma wrap for its garlic sauce, it is DIVINE. Can't have a review without praising their beef kabob, as well as anything with lamb in it, the smoothies, falafel, and the dessert menu (pistachio baklava YOURE THE BEST) Thanks Bassam and Mongi for always having great halal food!
